Daleel privacy information · Updated 3 November 2026

Your Daleel account

You create an account with your first name, last name, email address and a password. These are self-provided details, not verified government identity information. Daleel does not use UAE PASS or ask for your Emirates ID to sign in. Your name and email are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database. You can edit your name and upload or remove your photo in your profile. Your sign-in email is read-only.

Password and session security

Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes, never as plain text. A Secure, HTTP-only cookie identifies a session that lasts up to seven days. Only a digest of the session token is stored in the database. Signing out invalidates the session immediately and removes any linked Gmail connection. Account information remains saved so you can sign in again. Sign-in attempts are rate-limited. Email verification and password recovery are not currently offered.

Your profile photo

Uploaded JPG, PNG and WebP photos are cropped to a square, resized to 256 pixels and re-encoded in your browser before upload. Re-encoding removes source-file metadata. The small JPEG is encrypted in private Cloudflare storage under your account identifier until you replace or remove it. It is available only to your authenticated account, remains saved after sign-out, and is never included in AI requests. Use “Remove photo” in your profile to delete it.

Questions and AI

When you ask Daleel, your message, recent conversation, and selected service emirate are sent through our Cloudflare server to Groq. Your account name, email, password and photo are not included automatically. Do not put passwords, personal ID numbers or sensitive documents in a question. If the provider returns an unreadable or incomplete answer, the same request may be retried once. Current conversation history stays in this tab until cleared or closed. Provider processing remains subject to its policies.

Saved services and checklists

Your chosen service emirate, saved services and checklist progress are stored in this tab’s session storage under an opaque account key. They are cleared on sign-out and expire when the tab is closed. The service emirate is a search preference, not an identity claim. Previous versions may have saved preferences in browser local storage; clear the site’s browser data to remove those legacy values.

Optional Gmail connection

After signing in to Daleel, you can separately authorize read-only Gmail access. Gmail cannot sign you in to Daleel. Search and read email only through controls you use. When you select “Share with AI & summarize”, the selected email’s sender, subject, date and up to 10,000 characters of text are sent to Groq for that answer. Daleel does not request permission to send, delete or modify emails. Gmail tokens are encrypted in private Cloudflare storage for at most one hour. Disconnecting removes the stored connection and attempts to revoke its token.

Your choices

The welcome page and this privacy page are public. The main application requires a Daleel account. You can use the catalog and preparation checklists after signing in without asking AI or linking Gmail. Application code does not intentionally log identity details, chat prompts, email content or tokens. Infrastructure and connected service providers may process technical security logs under their own policies. This is an independent guide and does not determine eligibility or submit government applications.
